We hope you have an enjoyable holiday at Sunnsyide Hotel, and here are the answers to the most frequent questions we get.

If you still can not find out what you need to know please telephone us and we will be pleased to help.

How do I make a booking
Either telephone us on 01253 622171 or complete our online form.  We will be pleased to confirm availability and prices.  If you wish to go ahead and make a booking we ask for a non refundable deposit of £20 per person to secure the booking.  We request the balance of any booking fee when you arrive at the hotel.  For stays of one night we ask for full payment at the time you make your booking.

What are the meal times
We serve our buffet breakfast between 8.30am and 9.30am.  If you also book an evening meal this is at 5pm.

Do I get a front door key
Yes you get a key to the front door and your room.  You can come and go as you please.

What are the check in and check out times
Your room will be available from 2pm onwards on arrival day, and check out time is by 10am on day of departure.

Do you have car parking
We have free car parking at the hotel.  If the car park is full we can direct you to alternative parking.

Can I smoke
In accordance with UK law smoking is not permitted in the public areas of the hotel.  We do have smoking bedrooms.  We request that if you smoke in your room that you are considerate to future guests and keep the room well aired by opening windows and try to keep smoking to a minimum.

Are there steps into the hotel?
No, we also have a ramp way at the front of the hotel.

Will I struggle with the lift?
No we have a modern wide bodied lift with all buttons at an accessible height.

Will I have to negotiate steps on the landings?
The majority of oour rooms do not have steps from the lift.  If you have difficulties let us know when you make your booking so that we can make sure you get a room that is easily accessible.

Do you have entertainment
We have entertainment every night throughout illuminations season, and at weekends throughout the year subject to sufficent numbers.
